Peer-to-Peer Marketing
Why are Napster, Gnutella and similar sharing programs so loved? For the same reason that Microsoft is so hated. Microsoft, though dealing with the most advanced technology, is imbued with the old Superior-to-Inferior philosophy, a philosophy ...

You Gotta Have Friends
There are so many marketers asking:
* Where should I advertise?
* How Can I draw traffic to my site?
* What should I sell?
These are all important questions, but after stumbling around the web for years, making a sale here and a sale there, I've found my business has been helped the most by the friends I've made.
They have fancy names for it. Networking, Joint Ventures and many more names I don't even remember.
The funny thing is I didn't do it for business. I started out doing this as a hobby. It was a distraction from my brick and mortar business.
I guess I was lucky. I could break even and enjoy myself. As time went by I was accumulating a lot of friends.
It wasn't a concerted effort, it just happened on it's own.
Now if I have a question, or one of my valued newsletter readers has a question, I can always find a friend that has the answer.
When I first started writing articles, I first submitted them to my friends. If I have a new program I'm promoting, my friends are usually
there to help.
If you truly want to build your business for the long term, start by giving and you'll surely receive. Start by helping and you'll be rewarded.
Don't do it expecting a reward, or keeping a tally sheet. Do it as a natural course of your daily online efforts.
If someone has a question, help them. Don't worry about what you'll receive in return. Do it because you love doing it.
You friends will multiply around the globe. Don't force it, let it happen.
Over time you'll realize the greatest asset your business will have are the friends you've made.
I believe the Beatles said it best, "I get by with a little help from my friends."
So can you.
Learn to give and you'll surely receive.
